ダラットは、ベトナム南部の中部高原に位置するラムドン省の省都です。
市の中心には湖とゴルフコースがあり、街の周辺には丘やマツの林、湖、滝のある風景が広がっている。
同緯度の他の地域に比べて温和な気候から、「永遠の春の都市」とも呼ばれるこの街は、1900 年代初頭にフランス人によりリゾート地として開発され、今も植民地時代の遺産を多くとどめている。
