クラーク・キー駅の真上のショッピングセンター「セントラル」は日本関連の店が多く、地元客に人気。
このあたりは19世紀以降、貿易の拠点として発展したシンガポールの礎となった場所であり、当時の倉庫街を彷彿させる建物も残っている。
