プランバナン寺院遺跡群でも比較的人気が高い観光スポットとされるセウ寺院は、仏教寺院です。

インドネシアにある仏教寺院遺跡では、ボロブドゥール遺跡に次いで2番目に大きいので、時間に余裕があれば訪れてみたい。

セウ寺院とはジャワ語で千の寺院という意味があるが、実際は240基ほどです。
