This transnational World Heritage Site consists of 11 spa towns in seven European countries.
Baden-Baywien (Austria); Spa (Belgium); FrantiškovyLázně ; Karlovy Vary; MariánskéLázně (Czech Republic); Vichy (France); Bad Kissingen; Baden-Baden; Bad Kissingen (Germany) Montecatini Terme (Italy); and City of Bath (UK).
All of these towns developed around natural mineral water springs.
