マロティ山脈を含むドラケンスバーグ山脈の美しい自然景観や生物多様性、さらにはサン人たちが数千年にわたって残してきた数々の岩絵などの考古遺跡群という、自然・文化両面の価値が評価された複合遺産であり、グレート・エスカープメントでは最大の自然保護区を形成している。

Our goal is to include all World Heritage sites as of 2023 (1,199 sites in 168 countries). (We are very close.)
