Nimba Mountain Strict Nature Reserve(Nimba-san Genshi-no-Sen'yoku) is a national park that includes the main part of the 1752-meter-high Mount Nimba, which straddles Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire.
It has a rainforest area and a savanna area with dikers, muskoxen, and chimpanzees,Hime Potamogare, ,Wuchereria bicornis (species of toad)It is home to more than 500 animal and 2,000 plant species, including rare lichens and fungi (including more than 200 species unique to the region).
Of this protected area, the area included in Guinea was first inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1981, followed by the territory of Cote d'Ivoire the following year.
We have recently completed recording all of the "World Heritage Sites in the Middle East", "World Heritage Sites in North and Central America", "World Heritage Sites in Europe", "World Heritage Sites in Asia", "World Heritage Sites in Oceania", and "World Heritage Sites in South America". (except for some sites to be registered in 2023)
Currently, the last "World Heritage in Africa" countries not yet included in the list are available.
