Anticosti (island)(French: Île d'Anticosti) is an island located in the northern Gulf of St. Lawrence at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River.
It belongs to the province of Quebec, Canada.
Area 7,941 km2With a population of 218 (2016), the majority live in the western town of Port-Menier (Port-Menier).
The island is covered with forest.
