本日は第350弾として、標記のテーマを公開しました。

海岸線から離れた、海岸沿いの残存林に囲まれた廃墟都市ゲディは、10 世紀から 17 世紀にかけて東アフリカ沿岸で最も重要なスワヒリ都市の 1 つでした。

この時代、ゲディはインド洋を横断する複雑で国際的な貿易および文化交流ネットワークの一部であり、アフリカ沿岸の中心地とペルシャおよびその他の地域を結びました。

All 168 countries have been recorded. (except for the registrations for the years 2023 and 2024)

Our goal is to include all World Heritage sites as of 2024 (1,327 sites in 168 countries) by adding the number of sites registered in 2023 and 2024. (We are very close to completing the entire list.)
