第4回は「李氏朝鮮後期」です。
李氏朝鮮後期には、「大院君」と「閔妃」 の権力闘争を経て、1894年の甲午農民戦争（東学党の乱）を発端に、日清戦争で陸上戦闘の主戦場となる。
そして1895年の下関条約で、朝鮮が独立国であることを清に確認させた。
