ピレネー山脈のモン・ペルデュはフランス南部のスペインの国境に近いピレネー山脈の山頂を中心に広がる、スペイン側のオルデサ・イ・モンテ・ペルディド国立公園や、フランス側のガヴァルニー圏谷をはじめとするピレネー国立公園の一部から構成される世界遺産です。
フランスとスペインの国境にまたがるピレネー山脈の中で中心にそびえるモン・ペルデュは石灰質の山であり、「孤高の山」の名の通り、山脈中3番目に高い標高3,352メートルを誇る最高峰。
