Adena Culture(Adena Culture, English:) Adena) is a culture that flourished around 1000B.C. to around AD, centered in Ohio, USA.

The Adena culture is considered an Early Woodland Period culture, and with the advent of the Adena culture, all of the Woodland pottery, mound tombs, and corn farming that would later become the precursor to the Hopewell and other Woodland cultures were in place at the Adena. The Adena culture is considered to be the culture of the Early Woodlannd Period.

Adena Culture sites are located in southern Ohio, adjacent to Ohio in Indiana, northern Kentucky, southwestern Pennsylvania, and northwestern West Virginia.

All 168 countries have been recorded. (except for the registrations for the years 2023 and 2024)

Our goal is to include all World Heritage sites as of 2024 (1,327 sites in 168 countries) by adding the number of sites registered in 2023 and 2024. (We are very close to completing the entire list.)

It is the author's pleasure if you enjoy your trip to the World Heritage sites by combining the information on this site with the information in various guidebooks.
