本日は第344弾として、標記のテーマを公開しました。

200万年前からこの地域にヒト科の動物が生息していたことを証明する先史時代の遺跡群。

古代のホモ・サピエンスなどの化石が産出し、黒曜石を含む火山岩から作られた様々な道具とともに、年代が特定された地層に記録されている。

火山や堆積物の下に埋もれた古地理景観の断片は、化石動物相や植物相とともに保存されており、更新世におけるエチオピア高地の高山生態系を復元することができる。

こうして、高地の課題や気候条件に対するヒト科動物の適応について結論を導き出すことができる。

All 168 countries have been recorded. (except for the registrations for the years 2023 and 2024)

Our goal is to include all World Heritage sites as of 2024 (1,327 sites in 168 countries) by adding the number of sites registered in 2023 and 2024. (We are very close to completing the entire list.)
