本日は第349弾として、標記のテーマを公開しました。
Located in the remote countryside of northwestern Greece, a small stone village called Zagorohoria stretches along the western slopes of the northern Pindos Mountains.
These traditional villages are organized around a central plaza with a platanus tree, surrounded by a sacred forest maintained by the local community, and boast a traditional architectural style adapted to the mountain terrain.
The network of stone arch bridges, cobblestone streets, and stone staircases connecting the villages formed a system that served as a political and social unit linking the communities of Vikos and the Voidomatis River Basin.
All 168 countries have been recorded. (except for the registrations for the years 2023 and 2024)
Our goal is to include all World Heritage sites as of 2024 (1,327 sites in 168 countries) by adding the number of sites registered in 2023 and 2024. (We are very close to completing the entire list.)
