Major AirlinesUzbekistan Airlines

Tashkent International Airport
Access to Uzbekistan:Uzbekistan Airlines offers direct flights from Tokyo to Tashkent.
However, two flights per week. (as of 2020/1)
Therefore, we recommend flights via Incheon International Airport in South Korea.
Conveniently operated by Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, respectively.
The flights operate daily with a total one-way travel time of about 11 hours if the flight is via.
Airport ⇔ City Access:
Tashkent International Airport is located approximately 7 km south of the city center.
The only transportation to the city is by cab or bus.
- cab
It is the safest option, but there are no metered cabs and negotiation is required.
However, it is good for those who can negotiate firmly, as cab drivers will crowd the airport and haggle over the price as you leave.
The market rate for locals is about 10,000 soum (about 140 yen), but foreigners are not afraid to ask for 50,000 soum (about 700 yen) or 80,000 soum (about 1,100 yen), so you must negotiate hard to get the price down to about 20,000 soum (about 280 yen), the market rate for foreigners.
Frankly, the drivers outside the airport are quite overbearing, so you should be careful.
Cabs from the airport can be paid in dollars (or rather, negotiated in dollars). - Travel agency shuttles & hotel shuttles
Holding a placard with your name on it, look for the attendant waiting at the arrival lobby exit. - Bus to Tashkent⇔Airport
Exit the airport and head left to Terminal 2, then through the parking lot in front of it to find the bus stop.
Buses leave frequently from the bus stop at the end of the parking lot on the north side of the terminal.
The main routes are bus 67 and 76.
No. 67: Go north near Place de la Teoumur, north of the Navoi Theater, through an area with many mid-range hotels such as the Grande Ors.
No. 76: This route is a marshrutka (a small shared-ride bus in the former Soviet region) and goes to the route bus terminal next to Tashkent train station.
The fare is 1200 soum (about 16 yen), but it must be paid in soum, which must be exchanged at the airport.
However, since the exchange offices are closed for flights arriving at night, the only option is to cash out at an ATM at the airport in that case.
Also, boarding may be difficult with large luggage.
Tashkent Airport, bus stop
- Yandex
Yandex" is a car-dispatch application, or simply put, "the Russian-speaking version of Uber.
If you use the app, you can ride for about 5,000 soum to 10,000 soum (70 yen to 140 yen), the same price as the locals.
Because it is a car-dispatch application, there is no price negotiation, and drivers are not allowed to act in a way that would lower their own reputation.
However, you need to have an internet connection to use it, so if you want to use Yandex, it is better to prepare Wifi and SIM card in advance in Japan.
Yandex from the airport can be paid in dollars.
If you ride from the airport, the rule is to walk a little and ride on the street outside the airport, as access to the cab stand is restricted.
