East Asia is the geographical name for the part of Asia that is the eastern part of the Eurasian continent.
From the northwest, it includes the Mongolian Plateau, mainland China, the Korean Peninsula, the Taiwanese archipelago, and the Japanese archipelago.
Sometimes referred to as Northeast Asia, the Far East, or East Asia.
