Map of Pahong Yotin Street and vicinity
Pahong Yotin Street neighborhood overview
The area ranges from Phaya Thai to Mo Chit.
The BTS makes it easy to come and go.
Continue north on Phaya Thai Street, renamed Phahong Yothin Street at the Victory Monument, and continue north.
For a while it was a residential area, with only a military post, a TV station, and a few large office buildings dotting the landscape.
However, just before the Saphan Kwai BTS station, where Pradipat Road joins from the west and Stitharn Winichai Road from the east, the area suddenly becomes lively again.
Pradipat Road is lined with several mid-range hotels and many Thai tourists.
In contrast, Stitharn Winnichai Road is basically an entertainment district for Thai people, although there are a few inexpensive hotels.
The area is lined with rows of seedy bars and go-go bars, and the neon lights shine brightly at night.
Further north is Mo Chit station, the last stop on the BTS.
On weekends, the number of users increases rapidly with visitors to the Weekend Market.
