Ben Thanh(the) market (as a concept) Chợ Bến Thành
Built by the French in 1914, it is the largest market in Ho Chi Minh City, located in the center of the city.
There are entrances on the east, west, south, and north sides, and it is recommended to start from the front where the clock tower is located.
Food, clothing, household goods, shoes, bags, everything.
Some stores accept U.S. dollar bills as well as Vietnamese dong, but if you want to bargain finely, use Vietnamese dong.
Unmotivated-looking sellers have a higher success rate in bargaining than those who cheerfully speak to you in Japanese.
There is a roof over the house, but there is no air conditioning. It gets very hot during the day, so be careful of heat stroke.
It closes around 5:00 p.m., and from around 6:00 p.m., a night market is held daily next to the building and is lively.

The Great Church of Saigon is a neo-Gothic Catholic cathedral built by French settlers between 1877 and 1880, and all building materials were imported from France.
The red bricks for the exterior walls were imported from Marseille, and despite the fact that they were not coated with concrete at the time of construction, they have retained their original bright red color more than 130 years later.
The stained glass windows were made of glass imported from Chartres in central France.
